Art Imitates (jesus’) Life

The general stands at the
(the kingdom of heaven is like a)
field, arming his troops for
(the kingdom of heaven is like a)
battle, a last crusade against a
(the kingdom of heaven is like a)
force propelling itself towards
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
greatness, overcoming one last
(the kingdom of heaven is like a)
fortress.  Weapons raised for
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
combat, predetermined lessons of
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
preparation and readiness,
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
structure for the madness to come;
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
peace trumping the Harvester and
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
serenity when war becomes too great.
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
the general, leading the charge,
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
eclipsing the dark with light
(the kingdom of heaven is like)
a shadow of things to come, a
(the kingdom of heaven is like a)
rising, eternal sun, pure and light.
