The I in Pain

Remove me from this certainty
Rescue me from this complexity
Release me from this elasticity
Replenish me in this misery
But not as my will, but Thy will.

Embrace me in this calamity
Harness me in this stampeding
Clothe me in this harlotry
Secure me from this robbery
But not as my will, but Thy will.

Consume me from this industry
Ravish me from this monogamy
Lavish me from this security
Portion me in this reality
But not as my will, but Thy will.
